You can access the app at P2P.me. To enhance your experience, use the "Add to Home Screen" function on your mobile chrome browser to install P2P.me as an app directly on your phone.
Upon logging in, P2P.me creates an in-app smart contract wallet that remains under your self-custody. You can access this wallet using Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-ins, or by logging in with your phone number or email address.
Additionally, you have the option to log in using passkeys such as fingerprint or Face ID on your device.
Alternatively, you can connect any of your existing crypto wallets to log in.
Choose your preferred login method to easily access P2P.me from the same wallet for repeat use.
Upon successful login, your in-app wallet will be created on the Base. Please note that all withdrawals and deposits must be made to your in-app wallet in USDC on the Base network only. Deposits made to other networks can be permanently lost, so please proceed with caution and ensure all transactions are directed to your in-app wallet on the Base network only.
Your transaction limit on P2P.me is half of your Reputation Points (RP). For example, if you have 100 RP, your transaction limit will be $50 USDC.
The Reputation Points system on P2P.me is designed to prevent transactions by fraudulent individuals, reducing the risk of P2P-related bank account freezes. Incase of a bank account freeze on the network due to user both his RP and RP of his recommenders will be slashed. Your initial Reputation Points (RP) will be set to "0," and you will not be able to perform buy or sell transactions until you increase your RP. Here are ways to boost your RP:
Recommendations: If a P2P.me community member with over 200 RP recommends you, you'll earn 50 RP. You can receive multiple recommendations, each granting 50 RP.
ZK-KYC: Submit a ZK-proof of your Aadhar to earn 300 RP along with a $10 reward. However, please note that your ZK-KYC will be accessible to the Indian government.
Transaction Milestones: After earning RP through any of the above methods, you can gain an additional 75 RP by completing 5 transactions and another 75 RP by completing 25 transactions.
Once you have earned some RP points you can start placing Buy and Sell orders for USDC on Base using buttons below.

If your buy and sell orders are not full-filled with in 30 mins of placing the orders - you can raise a dispute on the app to escalate the transaction. All disputes will be settled with in 24 hours. If fake disputes are raised by you - your RP will be slashed by 25 points each time you raise a fake dispute. So pls be cautious before disputing a transaction.
Your per transaction limit is equal to half of your RP points - If your RP is 100 your transcation limit would be $50USDC. You can place 3 Buy orders and 10 Sell orders per day. You can place upto 15 Buy orders and unlimited sell orders in a given month.
